What Is Parquet?

Parquet is a word of French origin that defines the type of wood floor in the form of mosaic used for ornamental purposes. This soil type came into use in the seventeenth century in return for high-class soils, traditionally made of marble or other stone.

The parquet flooring is a type of wood formed of oak, oak, cherry, olive or tropical hardwoods. The floor can be composed of wooden slats.

The park for a long time was not accessible to all budgets and was a symbol of luxury, but in recent times has become a common decorative element in both the household decoration, such as industrial plants or large surfaces. The wood is highly decorative and gives a touch of class and special warmth, and at the same time possesses qualities of acoustic insulation. Today, due to the development of several parquet installation techniques make it affordable for every budget and technically can be installed without much knowledge or tools for each person. The requirements for installing parquet floor is a dry, flat, level and clean. No additional requirements are needed to place a parquet floor.

The park is one of LAGRA pavement life. If over time or tarnish its surface full of scratches, cracks, line and function may be restored. The most commonly used system restoration is polished parquet and subsequent varnishing. Parquet flooring can be stabbed, sanded and varnished to a maximum of 4-5 times (depending on thickness of the table).
