5 killer tips for building your online web site Personal Training

In the past, I did personally complete graphic design and coding for twelve of my websites. I also had local Community graphic web designer create two other websites. But now I have outsourced all this time working in Pakistan, India, or some other area-based technology is very economic geography. I talk about this type of comprehensive outsourcing in Chapter 5 of the train for Top Dollar.

So, what methods they used to create my websites?

Anyone who used to host your web site usually come include free web templates. What this means is that you can download the computer model, or you can use an online editing program that is usually available on your web host, and most of the work is done for you. For multiple reasons, including in my book, especially for use with a single click, creating a simple blog, my preferred host is Bluehost.

The colors, backgrounds, and the organization in these models already exist, and simply drag the desired images and text. This can be a very effective and fast way to design your web site.

On the flipside, a model will look very generic, and it has very limited control on the basic web site design and organization. This kind of sites do not have any wow factor, but if you're on a time of crisis, have a limited budget, or just want to start, this might be the way to go.

If you use an online tool for designing web sites, it is usually available from your hosting service (like Bluehost), you'll end up a web page on your website, then just press the "public" or "save", and it seems that now, when people type the domain name (aka URL) into your computer's web browser.

If you use a special software website design, computer-based, it is usually necessary to create the website on your computer, then send it electronically (called FTP) to your hosting service, which provides instruction in general quite well in help section on how to use various web design software to create and upload your site.

My favorite software is based on Adobe GoLive, but if you go to a web site to download freeware or shareware such as Tucows, you can try or use any number of free packages of web site design software.

Here are my five killer tips for your website design:

O Keep it simple and clean. Include a lot of "white space" so that readers not to be confused with 18 different training ads, pop-up fitness, music and sounds or the first time they visit the page.

Use photographs or effectively. Try to include your face or body, if possible, build a relationship of trust with your potential customers online and show that you are really good.

o Use a simple navigation menu without too many buttons. A simple "Home", "Services", "About Us" and "Contact Us" will suffice for basic training online personal page.

Include or space to publish your articles most recent crash on your home page. This is very important for the optimization of search engines, which present later in this chapter.

or include a space for customer testimonials. Here's an e-mail that I send to each customer after they have successfully reached a milestone achievement and has enough dopamine and endorphins roaring through their system to give me a great testimonial:

"Dear _________,

The people I coach and train are my main goal in life. When you reach your goals, I think I've contributed to your life in a unique way, and somehow contributed to my knowledge to help you achieve something special and meaningful.

I'm about to update my website - in particular the suitability of on-line services and nutritional education. I really want people to know how I can help them achieve their desires.

Here's where you come in. If you are interested, I'm looking for testimonials. Only a short sentence or a paragraph about how I helped to identify targets, achieve your goals or simply provided a push in the right direction.

If I use your testimonial on my website or a brochure, I would just write your name, or just your initials if you prefer. All you have to do is shoot your testimony to me via e-mail.

Thank you for your consideration, and remember to exercise and eat smart! "

These 5 tips will get you started. I also offer business consulting and personal training web sites, and give a large amount of information in my book Train For Top Dollar, which teaches how to maximize your income as a professional fitness .......
