Easy Web Design Software

Designing and publishing a website that you're proud of is not as difficult as you might think. Especially nowadays, because there is software available that automates much of the work that was relegated to the webmaster (that's you).

It used to be that to build a website from scratch, you must know HTML, or "Hyper Text Markup Language". And to tell the truth, you are even better at least know the basics of HTML. However, it is not required. Especially if it's an easy web design software that takes care of that for you. Now, every single HTML editor on the planet now has an interface "WYSIWYG". (What You See Is What You Get). So, theoretically, you should not know the first thing about HTML.

The reality, however, is that not all the HTML editor (or "web design software") WYSIWYG is good. Small annoying problems tend to pop out. For example, say you typed the following sentence with a handy HTML editor:

"Discover the best places to dive in the Cayman Islands." Do you want "best places" in italics and "Cayman Islands" to be bold, as shown. The way it is supposed to work is this:

Behind the scenes, the HTML editor is supposed to 'type' as this phrase: Find the best places to go diving in the Cayman Islands . (I put extra spaces between the tags in this example, in order to keep the software publishing article to analyze it as plain HTML.)

Instead, this is what you get: "Discover the best places to dive in the Cayman Islands." Although highlighted the "best places" the words and you click the small icon on the toolbar of your graphics editor html representing the italics, the phrase is not off-italic. And / or your words in bold are not bolded.

Well, in this case, you should go to "View Source" in your HTML editor and manually enter the HTML tags above to make these things happen. This is a very annoying problem with too many titles popular web design software today.

Another issue that will make you pull your hair, is seeing a totally different result in the web browser window that you see in the HTML editor. For example, the formatting changes are (apparently) that takes effect when typing - just as it should (remember it is supposed to be WYSIWYG) ...

However, they do not show up when you publish your web page! I do not know why, but this problem still affects the majority of web design software.

Fortunately, there are some (very few) shining stars who work for cheap, all while doing other things to make your site beautiful and (if you're so inclined) to attract customers .......
