The Spanish chain Room Mate Hotel Reopens Renovated in Miami Beach
Miami (USA), Sep 2011 (Thomson Financial) .- The Spanish chain Room Mate Waldorf hotel reopened in Miami Beach (USA), which is expected to become the first hotel with LEED certification standards ensuring sustainable building.
"The grand reopening of Waldorf travelers will experience boutique hotel with modern, stylish common areas and a sophisticated decor at a reasonable price so they can enjoy the restaurants, shops and popular attractions of South Beach," said Enrique Sarasola, president and CEO of the group.
"As in all of our Room Mate hotels worldwide, we wanted to give visitors a sense of Waldorf" home away from home "while exploring one of the most popular holiday destinations in the U.S.," he said in a statement.
It is expected that the Waldorf, formerly known as Waldorf Towers Room Mate chain was purchased and renovated for reopening, be the first of the hotels in Miami with the LEED certification, in verifying that designed and built using strategies to improve performance in all respects.
Developed by the Green Building Council U.S. controls this certification issues ranging from energy conservation and efficient use of water to the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions and improved indoor environmental quality and resource management. With these improvements, it will become one of the popular budget hotels of Miami Beach.
